1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Terra Tag website, your purchase of Terra Tag products and services, and your access to any Terra Tag digital tools, including the Conference Name Badge Kit.

By using our website, purchasing from us, creating an account, or using any Terra Tag product or service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or purchase or use our products or services.

In these Terms, Terra Tag, we, us, and our means Terra Tag. You, your, and client mean the person, business, organisation, or other entity using the website or purchasing or using our products or services.

2. Terra Tag Products and Services

Terra Tag offers physical and digital products and services, including:

• the Conference Name Badge Kit;
• seed paper name badges and lanyards;
• recycled name badges and lanyards; and
• related custom event product and badge services offered through the website or by direct quotation.

Some products or services may have additional details stated on the relevant product page, quote, invoice, or order confirmation. If there is any inconsistency, those specific commercial details apply in addition to these Terms.

3. Website Use

You agree to use the website lawfully and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or interfere with the operation of the website or our business.

You must not:

• use the website or our services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes;
• upload malicious code, harmful files, or unlawful content;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• misuse any Terra Tag digital tool or workflow; or
• copy, scrape, or reproduce website content or digital product content except as permitted by law or by our written permission.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including text, graphics, logos, images, product copy, downloadable materials, templates, software, and digital workflow materials, is owned by Terra Tag or its licensors unless otherwise stated and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content and files you provide to us, subject to any third-party rights in those materials.

For the Conference Name Badge Kit and any other digital workflow or file-processing service, you grant Terra Tag a limited right to host, copy, validate, process, convert, render, store, and delete your submitted content as reasonably required to provide the requested service, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with law.

You must not reproduce, distribute, resell, reverse engineer, adapt, or commercially exploit Terra Tag’s website content, digital products, templates, or workflow systems except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

5. Quotes, Orders, Engagement, and Deposits for Physical Products

Where Terra Tag provides a quote for physical products or custom physical-event work, that quote is an invitation for you to make an offer to purchase and is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

For physical custom-product work, you are taken to have accepted the quote and these Terms in full at the earliest of the following:

• you pay the required deposit; or
• you instruct Terra Tag to begin substantive pre-production work.

Pre-production work includes, without limitation:

• submitting artwork or design files for review, feedback, or test printing;
• requesting digital proofs or mock-ups; and
• submitting guest lists or data files for formatting, review, or production use.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon acceptance unless otherwise stated. This deposit secures your place in our production schedule and covers initial administrative, design, and preparation costs.

Final payment must be made in full before production commences and before your job is accepted into the production schedule.

The client must provide their final, confirmed quantity by the deadline date provided by Terra Tag. A final invoice will then be issued, adjusted for any changes from the initial estimate. Terra Tag is not responsible for production delays caused by late submission of final numbers or late payment.

6. Pricing and Payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices on the website are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.

Prices may change without notice for future orders or purchases. Payment must be completed using the payment methods or process we make available.

For digital products, including the Conference Name Badge Kit, the purchase model described at the point of sale applies. The Conference Name Badge Kit is sold as a one-time purchase with ongoing access to the tool, subject to these Terms and any product-specific access conditions published at the time of purchase.

7. Shipping and Delivery for Physical Products

Terra Tag currently ships physical products within Australia only.

We ship Australia-wide using trusted carriers including Australia Post and national courier services.

Production and delivery timing estimates stated on the website are estimates only.

Production and delivery timelines:

• Production time: 2 to 5 business days from the point of artwork approval.
• Standard delivery estimates:
  • Canberra: 3 business days
  • Brisbane: 2 business days
  • Sydney: 3 business days
  • Melbourne: 3 business days
  • Adelaide: 4 business days
  • Perth: 7 business days
  • Tasmania: 9 business days
• Express delivery estimates:
  • Canberra: 1 to 3 business days
  • Brisbane: 1 business day
  • Sydney: 2 business days
  • Melbourne: 2 business days
  • Adelaide: 2 business days
  • Perth: 3 business days
  • Tasmania: 3 business days

While we do everything we reasonably can to deliver on time, we rely on third-party carriers for delivery and are not liable for delays caused by postal disruptions, extreme weather, or courier service issues beyond our reasonable control.

Where tracking is provided, it is your responsibility to monitor the delivery using the tracking information supplied.

8. Quality, Returns, and Product Issues for Physical Products

Terra Tag takes pride in the quality and craftsmanship of its products and seeks to resolve genuine product issues fairly and consistently with Australian Consumer Law.

If there is a defect in our materials or workmanship, we will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution. Depending on the nature of the issue and your rights under Australian Consumer Law, this may include reprint, replacement, repair, refund, or another appropriate remedy.

Examples of issues that may constitute a Terra Tag error include:

• printing on an incorrect paper stock specified in the order;
• a physical printing defect, such as an ink smudge, that was not present on the final approved digital artwork; and
• incorrect sizing or hole punching that deviates from the approved order specifications.

For personalised or data-driven physical orders, the client-provided spreadsheet or approved data file is treated as the source of truth. Terra Tag is not responsible for errors that originate in customer-supplied data or content, including misspellings, incorrect titles, incorrect company names, punctuation errors, or other inaccuracies already present in the file you provide.

We strongly recommend that you carefully proofread all artwork, content, and data before approval or submission.

Claims for damaged, faulty, or incorrect physical goods are handled case by case, in line with the current policy position on the website and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Due to the bespoke, custom-made nature of physical products, Terra Tag does not offer refunds or exchanges for:

• change of mind;
• event cancellations;
• a decision to use a different product or provider after an order has been approved and produced; or
• colour variations between digital artwork and handmade paper or other physical materials, where exact colour matching cannot reasonably be guaranteed.

If your order arrives damaged in transit, please notify Terra Tag within 48 hours with clear photographic evidence of the damage to both the packaging and the product. Terra Tag will then review the issue and, where appropriate, lodge a claim with the relevant courier on your behalf.

If you need to make a claim in relation to a physical order, please:

• contact Terra Tag at hello@terratag.com.au within 7 days of receiving the order;
• include your order number and a clear description of the issue; and
• attach clear, well-lit photographs showing the issue.

Terra Tag aims to review and respond to such claims within 2 business days.

9. Final Artwork Approval

For physical custom orders and any other workflow that requires artwork approval, the final approved artwork or proof is the basis for production. By approving a final proof, you confirm that the layout, design, and data appearance are correct for production.

Terra Tag will produce the order in accordance with the final proof or approved production specification.

For personalised physical orders, by approving the final proof you confirm that the approved artwork and merged data appearance are correct for production.

10. Conference Name Badge Kit: Accounts, Access, and Support

Use of the Conference Name Badge Kit requires account creation and a valid purchase entitlement.

You must:

• provide accurate account information;
• keep your login details and access credentials secure;
• promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorised access; and
• use the tool only for lawful business or event purposes.

Technical support for the Conference Name Badge Kit is provided by email only. Unless separately agreed in writing, Terra Tag does not provide data-entry, proofreading, design, or event-management services as part of technical support.

11. Conference Name Badge Kit: Customer Content and Responsibilities

For the Conference Name Badge Kit, you are responsible for:

• the legality, accuracy, and completeness of the guest data, design files, artwork, fonts, and other content you submit;
• ensuring you have the right to use and upload the content you provide;
• reviewing generated outputs before printing, publishing, or distributing them; and
• downloading any files you wish to keep before they expire or are deleted.

Terra Tag is not responsible for failure, rejection, delay, or unsuitable output caused by customer-supplied files, data, artwork, fonts, or other content that is incomplete, inaccurate, incompatible, corrupted, or otherwise unsuitable for the workflow.

12. Conference Name Badge Kit: Temporary Files and Access

The Conference Name Badge Kit uses temporary working storage for uploaded files, previews, merged files, layouts, and related job artefacts.

Terra Tag may automatically delete temporary files in accordance with its published retention periods and operational settings, including without further notice once the stated retention period has expired.

If you lose access to a digital job or return link before expiry, Terra Tag may attempt to assist by email where identity and entitlement can be reasonably verified, but we do not guarantee recovery of any temporary file or in-progress job.

13. Refunds for the Conference Name Badge Kit

For the Conference Name Badge Kit, Terra Tag will provide a refund where there is a material service outage or failure that prevents the service from delivering the intended outcome.

This includes circumstances where the technical solution materially fails or is unavailable such that the service cannot reasonably perform the job it was purchased to do.

Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or any other non-excludable law.

14. Cancellation Policy for Physical Custom Orders

As physical custom orders are bespoke, Terra Tag applies the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation after engagement but before deposit payment
   If the client cancels after the order has been engaged but before the 50% deposit has been paid, the client will be invoiced for all time and materials spent on pre-production services up to the point of cancellation. This is billed at Terra Tag’s standard rate of $150 per hour + GST and is payable within 7 days.
2. Cancellation after deposit payment
   If the client cancels at any time after the 50% deposit has been paid, the deposit is forfeited in full to cover administrative, design, and material costs incurred.
3. Cancellation after final payment
   No refunds will be issued for cancellations after the final balance has been paid and the order has entered production.

These cancellation terms are subject to any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law or any other non-excludable law.

15. Promotional Use of Finished Orders

By purchasing Terra Tag products or services, you agree that Terra Tag may use images, descriptions, and related non-confidential details of finished badges, finished orders, or finished products for marketing and promotional purposes across channels such as our website, social media, and other marketing materials.

If you do not want us to use your finished order imagery or related material in this way, you must notify us in writing at hello@terratag.com.au.

From 22 August 2026, Terra Tag’s position is that it will not intentionally use marketing images that include identifiable guest data from finished badges. Where Terra Tag uses finished-product imagery for marketing, it will seek to avoid publishing unnecessary personal information visible on badges.

16. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website, our products, or our digital services from time to time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the website or any digital workflow, including the Conference Name Badge Kit.

Where paid digital access is involved, Terra Tag will act reasonably in relation to existing customer entitlements and service continuity.

17. Privacy

Your use of our website, products, and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terra Tag’s liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the website, our products, or our services is limited, at Terra Tag’s option, to:

• re-supplying the relevant product or service;
• replacing the relevant product;
• repairing the relevant product; or
• the amount paid by you for the relevant product or service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terra Tag is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by Australian Consumer Law or any other law where doing so would be unlawful.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia and any courts competent to hear appeals from them.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect from the date it is published, unless a later date is stated.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision is severed to the extent necessary and the remainder of the Terms continues in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable quote, invoice, order confirmation, and our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Terra Tag in relation to the relevant website use, product, or service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
