7. Conference Name Badge Kit
Terra Tag’s Conference Name Badge Kit uses Google Slides, Google Sheets and Google Drive to help users merge guest information into printable badge layouts.
The Badge Kit operates inside the user’s own Google account and requires permission to:
• Read selected Google Sheets guest list data
• Create and edit Google Slides presentation files
• Create and manage files within Google Drive
• Export PDF print files
• Display dialogs and interface elements inside Google Slides
How guest data is used
The Badge Kit reads the guest information that the user provides in their connected Google Sheet. This may include names, organisations, job titles, roles or other attendee information added by the user.
This information is used solely to:
• Merge guest information into badge templates
• Generate print layouts
• Export print-ready files within the user’s Google Drive
Terra Tag does not access, store, sell or use guest list data for marketing, profiling, analytics or AI training purposes.
Third party services and AI
The current version of the Conference Name Badge Kit does not transmit guest list data to third party AI services.
Guest list processing occurs within the user’s Google Workspace environment using Google services required for the functionality of the Badge Kit.
Data storage and retention
The Badge Kit creates working files and print layout files inside folders in the user’s own Google Drive account.
Terra Tag does not maintain external servers or databases containing guest list data generated through the Badge Kit.
Users are responsible for managing, retaining and deleting their own files within Google Drive.
User responsibility and data accuracy
Users remain solely responsible for:
• The accuracy and legality of guest data entered into Google Sheets • Reviewing merged badges before printing • Checking long names, titles and layout formatting • Ensuring final printed outputs are correct prior to production
The Badge Kit assists with automated layout generation and font fitting where possible, however final review and approval remains the responsibility of the user.
Google permissions
The permissions requested by Terra Tag are required for the core functionality of the Badge Kit, including reading Google Sheets data, creating Google Slides files, generating print layouts and exporting PDFs.
The script.external_request permission is used solely to make calls to Google’s own APIs, including the Slides REST API, required for badge generation and print layout creation. No data is transmitted to third-party external services.
Users may revoke access to Terra Tag at any time through their Google Account security settings.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Terra Tag’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used to serve advertisements, is not used for AI model training, and is not shared with or sold to third parties.
