Because there's too much good paper already out there just waiting for a second chance to become a sustainable Terra Tag name badge. We hand chunk this paper to ready it for pulping – it's like giving it a new lease on life.

  • And then there's our drying box – it's a bit of a creative masterpiece, made from old bike boxes, blotters from restoration projects, and flyscreen doors that were headed to the tip. It's not just a dryer; it's a testament to ingenuity and efficiency. Instead, we hunt down quirky treasures – a blender from a café that's seen better days, a mould and deckle made from old window screens and timber offcuts. Even our workbenches and chairs are pre-loved finds from Facebook Marketplace for our eco-friendly name badge production. Everything's got a story, and we love that!

  • Paper mills use a ton of water. That's why our recycled paper name badge process is water-conscious. We use just enough. We’re not about giant vats that guzzle. We keep it small and sweet. Our vats are upcycled tubs that use just enough water (less than 20 litres) to get the job done. We care about every drop of water.

  • Yes. Each product has a quote calculator. Go to the Shop and click the product you want a quote for. Fill in the calculator for an "on the spot" cost. Then you can either purchase, email yourself the quote, or send us a message. Easy peesy, lemon squeezy.

  • We handle last-minute registrations in two efficient ways:

    Eco-friendly Guest Name Stickers: Clients can print last-minute registrations using eco-friendly guest name stickers. We recommend Avery’s eco-friendly sticker options for this purpose.

    OR

    Two Batch Process: We process registrations in two batches:

    First Batch: This includes the majority of registrations available at the time.

    Second Batch: This is run six days before the event to include any last-minute registrations. Typically, this batch contains no more than 100 names, allowing us to complete and ship it within a day.

  • Of course! We offer high-quality, in-house printing for a personalised touch on your eco-friendly name badges. Simply provide us with an Excel file containing your guest names. See our artwork guidelines for details.

  • Our handmade paper is thick and lasting, like flexible cardstock. Terra Tags are perfect for indoor events, even multi-day ones. Tourism Australia uses them for their 3-day G'Day Australia event! However Terra Tags don't have a plastic coating, and we don't recommend them for all-weather outdoor events.

  • No. While we don't provide free product samples, our visuals and Instagram account offer plenty of videos and images. Terra Tags are made from thick handmade paper with a smooth and textured side. Both sides are perfect for printing.

  • Yes! Go to the Shop. Choose the item you want.

    Indicate your desired combination in the design instructions. For example, you can request 20 herb mix paper sheets and 30 flower mix paper sheets. We'll make it happen!

  • Due to Australia's strict quarantine rules, we cannot ship seed paper internationally. Shipping fees for our recycled paper name tags to places like Europe or North America are also cost-prohibitive.
